Exciting day for the jeans in the train ...

Thursday morning, sitting in the train, I can see Amsterdam Central when I look outside the little window but suddenly the train stops ... people start to talk with each other, next to me there's a girl sitting who doesn't say a thing, in front of me a doctor who needs to get to his work and next to him a woman that looks angry. On the other side of me there are an old woman with her granddaughter and a mother with her daughter who are dressed very upper class and having a little dog with them. After the train stopped people start to wonder what happened and after like 20 minutes someone tells us that they aren't allowed to move on and that they don't know how long we will be standing there.
There are many people on the train, kids start to run because they are bored, the sun is shining on the train and there are no windows that can be openend, the dog from the upperclass people is walking around and sitting on my lap. Everyone is calling with their parents, friends, boss, husband, wife or any other person they need to inform about this situation.

After about 50 - 60 minutes people are really tired of this situation and someone decide to break a window to open the doors of the train. Finally I was able to get out of the train but thanks to this I missed my college so I decided not to go to the uni today.

Today the jeans had to walk a couple of miles from the train to the station, a dog was sitting on it and at home I messed some orange juice on the jeans :( ... after that the jeans ended up in the laundry-basket again.

In the laundry-basket

There's the jeans lying in the laundry-basket, I guess it should be clean by tomorrow so I hope I will be walking around in it tomorrow.

Another day in a jeans life ...

Yes, this blog is about the life of a jeans! It's really not easy to be a jeans and this blog will show it.

This morning started kind of early because it should have been a long day at the uni but the computer was on and someone was online so I missed the 9:15 a.m. bus and the 10:15 a.m. bus which made me end up in the 11:15 a.m. bus. And after leaving school early you could say that this day turned out to be a little different as expected. At the uni someone messed a bit with her cookie and her crumbs ended up on my jeans ... well, now it's time to put the jeans in the laundry-basket and I hope to find it in my wardrobe in about two days. I started this post with the words that the life of a jeans isn't easy but this day definitely was, only some crumbs of a cookie but no rain/snow/coffee or anything else ... but those days will come soon.

The most expensive pair of jeans in the world?

Sometimes you hear people say “life’s a bitch” and I guess sometimes they are right about that.

Let me start with a little story:
A little boy was born on a cold winter day in 1985, he had a good childhood and when people ask him what he wanted to be when he is grown up he said “I want to be an airplane” or “I want to be a train” … well, a little later he understood that it wouldn’t be possible to become an airplane or a train but he wanted to be in the sky and he wanted to become a pilot.
Many years later he finished his high school and he started looking for information and the chances in the aviation business but the dream never came true because the aviation business went down after 9/11, the schools only accept a limited number of people and there was no money to pay for it.
But he got a great opportunity to start working for a big multinational, he was facing a great career and he dedicated most of his time to his work and his study. During that time of his life he lost some of the people he treasured the most, which made him decide to go back to the university and stop working that much because work wasn’t the most important anymore. Shortly after he went back to the university something great happened, he met the love of his life. But like always there is a downside and that is that she lives on the other side of the world. Only seeing her a couple of times a year is hard and now both are totally sure about wanting to spend forever with each other he tries everything to be with her as soon as possible. His Dutch law school degree won’t bring him much on the other side of the world and the little boy who is grown up now wants only one thing and that is to be with the love of his life. The great thing about that is that he also will be able to make his dream come true, that is becoming a pilot.

Yes, that’s the story of my life. Losing the people I treasured so much made me realize that nothing can replace the people you care about. The person I love with all my heart live 5,000 miles away from me and all I want is to be with her. When I find a way to get money to pay for the license I can make my dream come true and finally do what I really want to do and I can be with the girl I want to spend my life with.

The most expensive jeans ever sold is an original pair of Levi’s 501 jeans for $ 60,000. Now I want to sell my favorite jeans; it is a Thompson by Ralph Lauren. The starting price would be $ 65,000. That way you would make it into the Guinness book of Records but far more important is that you would make my dream come true and I could be living together with my girlfriend which we will always be thankful for.

Now you must be asking yourself why should I do this and what will I get for my money? Well, you will you get all of this ...
1) You will get my favorite jeans, the Ralph Lauren Thompson and I will bring it to you in person.
2) You will be making it into the Guinness Book of Records.
3) You will make my dream come true to start a career in the sky.
4) You will make two people the happiest people alive.
5) A Guinness Book of Records to show everyone that you are holding a record.
6) And I will fly you to a destination that you choose when I have my license.

If you have any questions or want to make a bid please don't hesitate to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible: buymyjeans@gmail.com.
